HBRA Vs Severnside Rifle Club

Saturday 26th July

Member Instructions

Arrival:

  • Please arrive promptly by 10:00 ready to be squadded into your group.
  • Shooting starts at 200 meters, followed by 100 meters once all 200 meter stages are complete.

Shooting Format:

  • 20 scoring rounds at 200 meters
  • 20 scoring rounds at 100 meters
  • Each detail lasts approx. 25 minutes – plenty of time, no need to rush.

Important Commitment Notice:

  • You must complete both 100m and 200m stages.
  • If you’ve committed to shoot for HBRA, both scores are vital for the club’s aggregate.
  • Leaving early after 200m is not acceptable and undermines the team’s effort.

Equipment Rules:

  • Any scoped rifle allowed
  • Prone or bench shooting permitted
  • Moderators, muzzle breaks, stock rests, bipods, and spotting scopes allowed
  • Unlimited sighters, including use of separate sighter targets stapled alongside the competition target

What to Bring:

  • Stapler
  • Shooting mat or bench
  • Sighter targets
  • Pen (to write your name on your targets)
  • Drinks (especially water to stay hydrated)
  • Competition targets are provided on the day

Zeroing Reminder:

  • No time to zero on the day, so make sure your rifle and scope are already set up.
  • You can use sighters during your detail (many shoot a sighter every 5 rounds to maintain accuracy).

After Shooting:

We typically finish by 15:00 – please stay until the end

BBQ lunch provided by the club
